PRESS RELEASE Landerneau January 19, 2016

During the last gust of wind, the ship "BUSE TRIO" flying Panamanian flag, owned by a Turkish shipowner, spent several days in anchor in the Bay of Douarnenez, watched by the rescue ship ABEILLE BOURBON

The association “MOR GLAZ” who expressed some doubts about the solvency and reliability of the owner, has now some doubts about the close departure of the ship "BUSE TRIO".

Outstanding wages represent approximately 15,900 dollars for two Indians and six Turkish crewmembers. MOR GLAZ requests the authorities not to play the Poker with the Turkish shipowner. Too many seafarers worldwide are victims of these "pseudo-owners" liars.

After many months at sea, some seafarers never receive their wages. These situations exist increasingly. Seafarers are always the victims. So let’s think about this together and unite our efforts to make better living conditions for the seafarers over the world.

The Association “MOR GLAZ” requests the Port State Control of Brest and the Port authorities to detain the ship until the seafarers receive their full wages.

On behalf of MOR GLAZ

Jean Paul HELLEQUIN, President,
