On 28 November 2015, some members of the Association MOR GLAZ and the Towing Association were in Cherbourg to remind that ten years after the arrival of the "ABEILLE BOURBON" in the port of Brest and the "ABEILLE LIBERTE" in Cherbourg, rescue facilities are still insufficient in France to face larger and larger ships. The cruise liners can carry 8,500 passengers and the container-ships more than 19,000 containers and 22,000 very soon! No country in the world are able to help these ships when weather conditions are "normal", we do not even talk about the problems during bad weather, storms !!! France must develop powerful tugs with :240-270 tons of pulling power.
